Graeme McCreath is a physiotherapist based in Victoria, B.C. At the age of eight, he developed glaucoma and sympathetic ophthalmitis, resulting in permanent blindness in both eyes. His book, The Politics of Blindness (Granville Island Publishing 2011), addresses the issues of parity amongst Canadian blind people and dispels the myths surrounding blind people's need for charity.
