To Daniel G. Scott life is a journey and poetry his companion along the way. His latest book, terrains (Ekstasis Editions $22.95), follows black onion (Goldfinch Press), a collection of poems chronicling loss and grief. Terrains echoes life's journey, exploring body, heart and soul while tracing the paths of loss and dying through real and imagined landscapes and dreams.
Scott, an associate professor in the School of Child and Youth Care at University of Victoria, has written radio and print journalism, theatre pieces and numerous academic publications.
