The Dinghy was printed from lead type and woodcut plates. Born in Chicago, Joe Ziner attended the Vancouver School of art (1969-1971), and later pioneered the craft of Gyotaku, or 'fish printing.' He moved to the Comox Valley in 1983 and started a printmaking studio in Courtney. His Percolator Press has published other writers.
