Born in London in 1946, Pamela Adams was a teacher before moving to Vancouver in 1981. In 1998 she self-published Blossom and Friends, a modest and simple children's story about a chicken, with illustrations by Robin Currie. It was produced by Morriss Printing. Adams currently resides on a hobby farm on Salt Spring Island. Handling sales herself only in southwestern B.C. she claims Blossom and Friends has sold 6,800 copies since its publication. In 2007 Adams released a sequel entitled From Blossom to Blondie, with illustrations by her daughter, Lindsey Adams.
