BERDICHEWSKY, Bernardo

A Chilean-born anthropologist and former Capilano College professor, Berdichewsky is the author of Cultural Pluralism in Canada: What It Means to the Jewish Community (Canadian Jewish Congress). The book is a study of West Coast Canadian Jews and their feelings on their role in the Canadian ethnic mosaic. According to Stan Persky of the Vancouver Sun, Berdichewsky argues that Jews ought to have a ‘natural’ interest in supporting multicultural policies.
