As a member of the UBC English department, Moss is on the editorial boards of ARIEL: A Review of International English Literature and Studies in Canadian Literature. Is Canada Postcolonial is a collection of essays by 23 Canadian intellectuals that arose from a University of Manitoba conference in 2000 that looked at national identity by examining Canadian literature.
