Former Province reporter Gary Bannerman was also an open-line radio host in Vancouver. He wrote a history of the West Vancouver independent school that opened in 1984 for wealthy families, with classes from kindergarten to grade twelve, Collingwood School, plus books on Gastown and BC Ferries.
