Janice Lore grew up on a farm in southern Alberta. Her work has appeared in Canadian literary journals and has been heard on CBC and CHOO-FM radio. Her first chapbook, Ipsissima Verba, is a "found" poem about math, philosophy, definitions and a middle-aged woman's life. Its title means 'the very words, the exact language.'
