Born in Vancouver and raised in Aldergrove, Fay Lapka published novels for teens from Christian-oriented Harold Shaw Publishers in the U.S., Dark is the Colour and Hoverlight, both set on a planet called Clytie, circa 2460 A.D., and The Sea, The Song and the Trumpetfish. "I'm interested in integrating science and mythology in the realm of myth," she says. Regent College Bookstore at UBC has carried her books. She married and now writes as Faith Richardson.
