Scott Watson has been curator of the Morris and Helen Belkin Gallery at UBC and his articles on art have been widely published in Canada. He wrote the biographical and critical text for Jack Shadbolt (D&M, 1990), a study of the painter that won a Hubert Evans Non-Fiction Prize. He also contributed the text to Jack Shadbolt Drawings (D&M 1994). He co-edited All Amazed: For Roy Kiyooka (Vancouver: Arsenal Pulp Press, 2002) and publshed a survey of the work of Stan Douglas (Phaidon, 1998). Scott Watson and John Fuster previously provided texts for a UBC Fine Arts Museum catalogue for a Stan Douglas exhibit, Monodramas and Loops (UBC Fine Arts Gallery, 1992).
