A longtime member of the Kootenay School of Writing collective, Dorothy Trujillo Lusk of Vancouver was born in 1956. She was also active in Red Queen, which organized readings at East Vancouver's Octopus Books. Her book Oral Tragedy (Tsunami Editions, 1988) was runner-up in the bpNichol Memorial Chapbook contest in 1989. Her second collection of modernist verse is Redactive (Talonbooks, 1993). Others include Ogress Oblige (Krupskaya 2001) and Sleek Vinyl Drill (Thuja, 2000).
