Born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on October 29, 1925, Vancouver Islander Ron MacIsaac came to B.C. in 1948. He worked as a newspaper columnist in New Zealand, Hawaii and the Grand Cayman Islands. He co-wrote a biographical study of the cult leader Brother XII with Don Clark and Charles Lillard (Porcepic Press, 1988) [See entry for Edward Arthur Wilson] and he wrote Clayoquot Mass Trials (New Society, 1993). He also self-published a biography of Elizabeth Twipel in 1996.
