Geology of the Kelowna Area and Origin of the Okanagan Valley British Columbia (Kelowna Geology Committee / Fox View Management Ltd 1995) was published by Kelowna geological consultant Murray A. Roed and a team of co-authors consisting of hydrology consultant Don A. Dobson, head of College Board in Canada George Ewonus, Okanagan University College Geology Department Chairman John D. Grenough, well-site geologist Brian Hughes, agricultural soils and terrain specialist H.A. (Herb) Luttmerding, exploration geologist Peter Peto and engineering consultant Norman Williams, one of the founders of the Interior Geotechnical Society. All authors resided in the Okanagan. The book went out of print and was replaced in 2004 by Okanagan Geology, British Columbia (Kelowna Geology Committee), edited by Murray A. Roed and John D. Greenough.
Murray Roed, as a part-time resident of the Cayman Islands, later self-published Islands from the Sea (Murray Roed Publishing / Sandhill, 2006), a study of geological history pertaining to the Cayman Islands.
