While editor of Vancouver magazine, Scott Mowbray was a food and restaurant critic who published The Food Fight: Truth, Myth and the Food-Health Connection in 1992. He left B.C. the same year to edit an American magazine called Eating Well. He is also the co-author of The 1986 Guide to Vancouver. Mowbray was born in Saskatoon in 1959 and came to B.C. in 1976 to study journalism at Langara College.
