She edited British Columbia: Visions of the Promised Land (Flight Press, Raincoast $12.95), an anthology of mostly literary selections about British Columbia from writers such as John Gray, Anne Cameron, Susan Musgrave, George Ryga and Dorothy Livesay. W.P. Kinsella's less than reverant contribution is called 'Nuke the Whales and Piss in the Ocean.' In panning this collection for Books In Canada, reviewer and bookseller Ron Phillips noted Eric Nicol once referred to the province as "a large body of land entirely surrounded by envy."
