With a Master's degree in Entomology from the University of Alberta, Edmonton-based John Acorn is a co-author of The Birds of Coastal British Columbia, Bugs of British Columbia (Lone Pine. 2001) and Butterflies of British Columbia (Lone Pine, 2006). He has also written and hosted a television series called Acorn, The Nature Nut.
