PROSCH, Thomas Wickham




Thomas Prosch (1850-1915) was an amateur historian of a pioneer family, involved in the newspaper business in the Puget Sound area. He was the 1872-3 proprietor of the Olympia newspaper Pacific Tribune. He moved to Tacoma and then to Seattle in 1875. In 1885, he owned half of the Post Intelligencer when it was established in Seattle.
