Margie Keddall Graham is the grand-daughter of B.C. newspaper woman Margaret 'Ma' Murray and the daughter of print journalist Georgina Keddell. She was born in Vancouver on April 5, 1951. Graham collected her mother's Alaska Highways News column of the 1960s for the self-published title Peace Lovin' Folk! Stories of Alaska Highway Pioneers (Merritt: Margie Graham Publishers, 1990; 1994), co-authored with her mother. Employed in environment logging, she moved from Merritt to Cochrane, Alberta. Her ancestral background is Scottish, Irish and English.
