As a former Curator of Mammalogy at the Royal BC Museum, Nagorsen summarized the most up-to-date information on 45 species of rodents, from the tiny Western Harvest Mouse to the toothy Beaver, as well as seven species of lagomorphs (five rabbits and hares; two pikas) in Rodents & Lagomorphs of British Columbia (Royal BC Museum, 2004 $25.95). His preceding titles included Bats of British Columbia (RBCM, 1993) with R. Mark Bingham, plus Opposums, Shrews and Moles of British Columbia (RBCM, 1996).
