As a friend of composer Jean Coulthard for 30 years, UBC-based professor emeritus William Bruneau co-authored a biographical appreciation of her music with composer and writer David Gordon Duke. UBC was one of Coulthard's many 'musical homes' throughout her varied, seven-decade career. Bruneau is also the editor of the paper of Bertrand Russell.
