Born in 1904, Harry Gregson died in 1973. He was the father of Anthony (Tony) Gregson, a former director of the Association of Book Publishers of British Columbia, who was a driving force behind the creation of the B.C. Book Prizes, B.C. BookWorld and several other important literary/cultural initiatives in the 1980s; as well as Tony's twin brother Michael, who co-edited The Land of Destiny with Charles Lillard.
