Susan Marsden wrote Defending the Mouth of the Skeena River: Perspectives on Tsimshian Tlingit Relations (2000) in 1995 and presented it at the 29th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Archaeological Association in Halifax in 1996 as one of several papers in a session marking the 30th anniversary of the North Coast Prehistory Project initiated by George MacDonald.
