Born in Thompson, Manitoba, Sina Queyras lived in B.C. from 1969 to 1993. She grew up navigating the highways of British Columbia in her mother's forest green Chrysler Newport. She attended Malaspina, UVic and UBC before leaving for Montreal to complete an MA at Concordia. Her work has been published in journals and anthologies in North America and in the UK. She lives in Brooklyn and teaches creative writing at Rutgers.
