Andrew Woolford suggests greater emphasis should be placed on requirements for justice in the B.C. treaty process, currently overridden by concerns for certainty, in Between Justice and Certainty: Treaty Making in British Columbia (2005), a study that focuses on the first decade of of the British Columbia treaty process since its establishment in 1992. Having gained his Ph.D from UBC, Woolford became an assistant professor of sociology at the University of Manitoba.
