JUSTICE, Douglas

A curator at the UBC Botanical Garden, Douglas Justice co-compiled a list of Asian plants that are on the “cutting edge” of plant exploration in North America in The Jade Garden: New & notable plants from Asia (Timber Press, 2005), with colleagues Brent Hine and Peter Wharton. While selecting the 150 plants that appear in the book, the authors considered a variety of gardening qualities, including hardiness and garden appeal and excluded any potentially invasive plants.
