A retired United Nations official, Dr. Mohinder Singh settled in B.C. in December of 1974 where he has written books in English on a variety of subjects, mainly published by the Sikh Education Society, as well as a UBC-related paper, Problems of Hunger and Malnutrition in Developing Countries (UBC, 1975) and a socio-economic survey of Indo-Canadians published in 1981.
