Sarasvati Scapes (Pendas Productions $20), a collection of poetry by Angela Hryniuk (pictured at right in Begowal, India) and Penn Kemp chronicles Buddhist pilgrimage throughout India. Recently Hryniuk received a Canada Council grant to record a CD soundscape based on this book which will be recorded this year with Stephen Fearing producing, Hryniuk and Kemp reading their work, Ajmer Rode reading his translations of the work in Punjabi and Indo-Canadian singer Kiran Ahluwalia.
