Ian Williams' debut novel, Reproduction (Penguin Random House 2019) earned him the 2019 Scotiabank Giller Prize. Past books include a collection of short stories, Not Anyone's Anything that won the Danuta Gleed Literary Award; and two collections of poetry - Personals, which was shortlisted for the Griffin Poetry Prize and You Know Who You Are, shortlisted for the ReLit Award.
Williams lived in Vancouver while working as a professor of poetry at UBC. He was named by the CBC as one of ten Canadian writers to watch.
