Throughout the twenty-seven years Andy Chelsea was Chief of the Alkali Lake Esk'et First Nation, Andy and Phyllis Chelsea worked to eradicate alcoholism and took steps to overcome the rampant intergenerational trauma that existed for the people of Alkali Lake.
