Dennis Brown created the paintings in Passing Through: Mountain Paintings & Poems (self-published, 2018) to accompany poems by David Marmorek -- with one exception: Brown wrote the poem, "Tantalus Sunshine." The book grew out of a visit by the two men to Lake Lovely Water in B.C.'s Tantalus Range.
