Professor, Department of English at SFU, Paul Budra co-edited Part Two: Reflections on the Sequel (U. of Toronto, 1998) and wrote A Mirror For Magistrates and the De Casibus Tradition (U. of Toronto, 2000), a collection and study of English Renaissance Narrative Poems. Budra also co-edited the essay collection Soldier Talk: Oral Narratives of the Vietnam War. A past president of the Pacific Northwest Renaissance Society, he received the SFU Excellence in Teaching Award for 2004. in 2016, he co-edited with Clifford Werier Shakespeare and Consciousness (Palgrave 2016).
