He has published three volumes of poetry -- Twenty-One, Fruit Dots and Natural History -- and contributed catalogue essays for "Adverse Practices", a public art exhibition organized by the Association of Noncommercial Culture. A chance encounter with Robert Creeley led to an invitation to read at the Festival of Canadian Poetry at the State University of New York in 1980. He lives near Nanaimo. In 1992, he contributed an essay for a photo exhibition by artist Gerry Gilber called Hands: Forty Years of Photographs, at the Contemporary Art Gallery. [BCBW 1995]
