Born February 25, 1968 in Calgary, Alberta, A.M. Dellamonica came to B.C. in 1991. In her fantasy novel Indigo Springs (Tor Books, 2009), mystical energy from a universe known as the Unreal escapes into the here and now, creating a Chernobyl-scale disaster and altering the world forever. A. M. Dellamonica's short fiction has appeared in numerous sci-fi, fantasy, mystery and alternate history publications and anthologies. When not writing, she teaches virtual writing workshops online for UCLA, and pursues photography, sings with the Vancouver Lesbian and Gay Choir. She lives in Vancouver with her spouse, the wine critic Kelly Robson.
