Born in Winnipeg in 1953, he co-edited More Than Our Jobs with Pam Tranfield as a member of the Vancouver Industrial Writers Union. His second book, Heartland, follows An X-Ray of Longing, a poetry collection which emanates from his work with cancer patients and their families. He now lives in Toronto.
