Wrote Chasing Captain America: How Advances in Science, Engineering, and Biotechnology Will Produce a Superhuman (ECW, 2018). His previous books use superheroes as metaphors to explore the science of human potential. He also writes for magazines including: Psychology Today and Scientific American.
Zehr holds a PhD (neuroscience) and is a science communicator, professor, author and martial artist. He is the director of the Centre for Biomedical Research at the University of Victoria.
