Born in Trail on March 8, 1962, Cory R. Ginter became interested in writing at age 12 when his short story won a local writing contest. "In my early twenties I tried writing my first novel," he says, "but the story would not come. Then, in my mid-thirties, I again made an attempt to write. With the knowledge gained from books available on the art of writing from my local library, and a local writer's group, I was able to put my ideas into a 180,000 word manuscript." Realm of the Golden Feather is Ginter's first book.
