Born in England and a graduate of the University of Liverpool, Tony Greenfield later settled on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia where he started Whiskeyjack Reforestation, a tree-planting company, and later Whiskeyjack Nature Tours. A founding member and president of the BC Field Ornithologists, Greenfield is the author of A Hiking Guide to the Trails of the Lower Sunshine Coast, Guide to the Birds of British Columbia (Harbour, 2009) and Waterfalls of British Columbia: A Guide to BC's 100 Best Falls (Harbour, 2009).
