Edited by Vancouver media-makers Oliver Hockenhull and Alex MacKenzie, DAMP: Contemporary Vancouver Media Art (Anvil, 2008) is an art-infused, idea-filled book on Vancouver's on-the-vanguard media arts scene. It includes more than 25 writers and media artists such as Jeff Carter, Sarah Butterfield, Pia Massie, Barry Doupe, David Rimmer, John Price, Amanda Dawn Christie, Ileana Pietrobruno, Chris Welsby, Amy Lockhart, Andrew Herfst/David Crompton, Fiona Bowie, Oliver Hockenhull, Alex MacKenzie, Jayce Salloum, Clint Burnham, Cease Wyss and Warren Arcand. Other contributors to the book include Ann Marie Fleming, Randy Lee Cutler, Peter Courtemanche, Michael Lithgow, Brian Johnson, Norma (Collective), Emily Vey Duke/Cooper Battersby, Kate Armstrong, Laiwan, Yunlam Li and the late Ken Anderlini.
