Born in Vernon, B.C. on April 24, 1946, Susan Hulland wrote The History of the Pilot Bay Lighthouse (Friends of Kootenay Park, 1996). With A. Terry Turner she co-wrote Impressions of the Past: The Early History of the Communities of Crawford Bay, Gray Creek, Kootenay Bay, Pilot Bay and Riondel, on the East Shore of Kootenay Lake, British Columbia.
