With an M.A. in English, Linda Langwith of Vancouver Island visited a little-known tomb of an unknown crusader at Fountains Abbey in Yorkshire and conceived her novel The Golden Crusader (Twilight Times, 2006), the story of Gemma Ravenscroft and her return to Yorkshire. The heroine overcomes meddlesome friends and someone bearing a long-held grudge in order to discover the secrets of the past and save her own life.
