In the You Can't Keep A Good Man Down Department, Warren MacDonald has few peers. In 2003 he became the first double amputee to reach the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak. His memoir of his ordeal in Australia when he was climbing Mount Bowen and had both his legs pinned by a huge boulder is A Test of Will: One Man's Extraordinary Story of Survival (Greystone 2004).
