Educated in Saskatchewa, Alberta and Ontario, Edward C. Meyers served from 1949 to 1954 in the RCN and from 1956 to 1961 in the RCAF. He also served the Government of Ontario for 25 years in the Ministry of Transport (Driver Improvement Section). He retired in 1993 to take up writing.
