Victorian resident and architectural historian Dorothy Mindenhall's interest is the Victorian era and she is involved in various projects for heritage conservation. She contributed to Building the West, a publication about the architects and architectural environment of early B.C.
Unbuilt Victoria (Dundurn, 2012) contains 146 b&w illustrations and examines some of the architectural plans that were proposed but rejected during Victoia's modernizing boom after the Second World War.
