Joyce Sandilands is a third generation Victorian, born in Victoria, B.C. on March 13, 1945. She began her writing career as editor for her husband, J. Robert Whittle who began writing while recuperating from a staph infection and surgery in 1994. Together they have written the "Moonbeam Series" for children aged four to nine and three stand-alone novels, including two award winners. They mainly sell their books at summer markets and Christmas Craft Fairs.
