Traci Skuce published her debut short story collection, Hunger Moon (NeWest 2020) about characters at turning points in their lives.

She graduated from Pacific University's low residency MFA program in 2015. Her short stories and non-fiction have been nominated for four Pushcart Prizes and two Journey prizes. Her short story Because the Fall is in Two Weeks was longlisted for the 2019 CBC Short Fiction competition, and she was runner-up for PRISM International's 2019 Grouse Grind Very Short Forms contest. She lives in Cumberland.
