Judy Bertram Tomlinson was long involved in the Victoria school system as a student, parent, teacher, vice-principal and principal. For twelve years she was the principal of two large French and English track elementary schools. Retired and living in Sidney, she self-published a memoir called What's Shaking the School: A Principal's Retrospective (Trafford, 2010). "Unless a person has been in the role of a school principal, it is impossible to understand that job completely," she writes.
