It’s a common misconception that marine creatures like fish, shrimp and seahorses live silently in the sea. But these water-dwellers actually make “some of the most interesting sounds you’ve never heard.” In What Sound Does a Seahorse Make? (Ronsdale, 2015), readers will learn more about these critters and can scan QR codes to access audio and video recordings of the surprising noises they make. Also included are interactive science projects that illustrate various aspects of sound, such as waves and frequencies.
