Dubbed the "Kipling of the Kootenays," Robert T. Anderson (1880-1960) lived in Lemon Creek during his 20s, contributing poems to local newspapers in the Kootenays. He later moved to Edmonton, became a fireman, served in W.W. I and lived for the rest of his life in Alberta.
