Mario Fedele was born in Italy in 1942. He moved to B.C. in 2004 and lives with his wife, son, and their ever-faithful poodle, Buddy. They reside in Ladysmith, on Vancouver Island. Fedele has a BA in Child Psychology as well as a certificate in Early Childhood Education. He has been "retired" since 1985.
About his memoir, Fedele writes: "My son was diagnosed with Stickler's syndrome and the medical hardships he experienced posed quite a challenge for us. I felt that sharing our trials and tribulations would benefit others, so I decided to chronicle our story in a memoir, titled 'God's Gift'."
