Antarctica, a $4,500 collector's book by Salt Spring Island's Pat and Rosemary Keough and printed by Burnaby's Hemlock Printers, has won the Benjamin Franklin Award from the Printing Industry of America, and the Craft Art Science Award from the International Association of Printing House Craftsmen. Featuring 345 photographs by the Keoughs during two years of Antarctic expeditions, the book has been acquired by Prince Charles, Queen Noor of Jordan and Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands.
